Harvest: A Permaculture Game
Experience Design, Hand-Drawn Typography
This interaction design project is an exploration of teaching the philosophy of permaculture through experience. Players in the game draw and trade different Plant cards to incorporate in their garden and are encouraged to apply the principles of companion planting to promote the “growth” of each plant in their garden.
By choosing different Observation, Interaction, and Compost action cards, they either nurture their garden or let it wither. The collection of water and sunlight pieces multiply the effectiveness of their actions.
